Training Initiatives Coordinator
Deanna McCord manages the nationally accredited REE Training Center. Deanna has more than 20 years’ experience in the compliance field serving clients in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining REE, Deanna managed the Program Compliance department for Kentucky Housing Corporation coordinating the oversight of more than one hundred million dollars of federal grants annually. Over the course of her career, Deanna has developed and delivered training programs on a variety of topics, including federal grants management, environmental health, regulatory compliance, and business administration. Deanna is a BPI-certified Building Analyst
Lyndsey performs a wide range of administrative duties for the REE Training Center and is the primary contact for customers to coordinate training and testing services. Lyndsey manages REE’s social media accounts and assists with marketing for the center. Lyndsey is a graduate of Midway University, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has six years’ experience working in various aspects of the housing industry. Prior to joining the REE team in 2018, Lyndsey worked in Kentucky Housing Corporation’s (KHC) Homeownership and Corporate Planning and Accountability departments. Lyndsey has five years’ experience renovating single family homes in Frankfort, Kentucky. Lyndsey is a BPI-certified Building Analyst.
Dewayne has 9 years’ experience in the Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) performing comprehensive energy audits of single-family dwellings and quality control inspections of technical work. Dewayne is a BPI-certified Quality Control Inspector, Energy Auditor, and Building Analyst. He holds Level 1 Thermography certification, is certified by the EPA as a lead-based paint renovator, and is an expert in duct leakage diagnostics, zonal pressure diagnostics and combustion appliance zone safety. Dewayne serves as a technical monitor for Kentucky’s WAP network.
Troy has 13 years’ experience in the Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), 7 years as an Energy Auditor and 3 years as a monitor/trainer. Troy is Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified in Quality Control Inspector, Energy Auditor, Building Analyst, Crew Leader, Retrofit Installer Technician, Healthy Home Evaluator, and Infiltration and Duct Leakage designations. Troy holds Level 1 Thermography certification, is certified by the Environmental Protection Agency as a lead-based paint renovator and is trained in construction safety under Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards. Troy brings 10 years of experience in the private-market building construction industry.
Charlie has 15 years’ experience in the Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), 7 years as an Energy Auditor and 10 years as a Monitor/Trainer in the energy field. Charlie holds Contractor/Master Electrical licensure, Low- Medium- and High-Voltage Mine Electrical licensure and HVAC licenses, as well as Level 1 Thermography and Master Mechanic certifications. Charlie is Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified in Quality Control Inspector, Energy Auditor, Crew Leader, Retrofit Installer Technician, Building Analyst, Multifamily Building Analyst and Infiltration and Duct Leakage. Charlie has used his expertise in the building science industry to train energy professionals across the country.
